Clinical Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a healing therapy used in Asia for more than 3,000 years to reestablish, promote and maintain wellbeing. It implies the placement of tiny, hair-thin pins into strategic pressure points on the body (acupoints) to move blood and oxygen to the tissues, correct the flow of vital energy, restore balance, and relieve pain. Acupuncture induces a deep relaxation and many people doze off during a treatment.

Acupuncture treatments are based on a life-giving energy, that with blood, and oxygen, we all have. It is called “qi”and it circulates within the body, traveling through a system called meridians or channels. There has been correlation of these meridians with the Nervous System and the Primo Vascular System of our bodies.

Inserting very thin pins into specific points along these meridians can move blood and oxygen to the area, releasing blocked “qi” which is a source of pain. Scientific research over the past years has found that acupuncture can help relieve chronic conditions even in some cases where Western medicine has not been successful.

Acupuncture treatments can be used for a wide variety of diseases and conditions including digestive problems, emotional conditions, pain disarrays, allergies, neuropathy, insomnia, chronic disease and more.
